摘要: AbstractTen years of Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission precipitation radar data are used to study the physical properties precipitating cloud systems that account for summer rainfall tropical and subtropical South America. Radar echoes in continental subtropics tend be an intensely convective nature, especially at eastern foothills Andes where diurnally forced deep cells small horizontal scale form when moist low-level flow is driven toward connection with a midlatitude disturbance.
