摘要: To estimate treatment effects, trials are initiated by randomising patients to the interventions under study and finish comparing patient evolution. In order improve trial report, CONSORT statement provides authors peer reviewers with a guide of essential items that would allow research replication. Additionally, WebCONSORT aims facilitate author reporting providing from different extensions relevant being reported. has been estimated proportion reported 0.04 (95% CI, –0.02 0.10), interpreted as “no important difference”, in accordance scheduled desired scenario 0.15 effect size improvement. However, non-scheduled analysis, it was found that, despite clear instructions, around third manuscripts selected for editorial staff were not actually randomised trials. We argue surprises benefit science, further should be conducted performance staff.
