摘要: The effect of the dopant Y on high-pressure-induced polymorph transformation was investigated in Ag2S nanocrystals. A from monoclinic P21/n phase I (where Ag1 and Ag2 atoms both participated four-fold-coordinated tetrahedra) to orthorhombic P212121 II distorted tetrahedra but five-fold-coordinated pyramids) then another III still five-coordination pyramid-like structure showed a coordination number five form trigonal bipyramids) observed under increasing high pressure at room temperature. initial fully recovered after decompression. Compared with two transition values pure sample, those Y-doped sample were found be lower, revealing significant influence even low concentration compressibility Ag2S. smaller bulk modulus larger volume collapse Ag2S:Y further suggested it more compressible.
