摘要: In an effort to elucidate the variation of electronic structure as a function oxidation and composition, we investigated extensive series dichromium oxide clusters, Cr2On− (n=1–7), using photoelectron spectroscopy (PES). Well-resolved PES spectra were obtained at several photon energies. While low energy yielded much better spectral resolution, high data allowed both Cr 3d- O 2p-derived detachment features be observed. The overall evolution exhibits behavior sequential with increasing oxygen content, where binding 3d-based diminish in numbers shift towards higher energies result charge transfer from O. Evidence was for population low-lying isomers Cr2O2−, Cr2O3−, Cr2O6−. current are compared previous studies related on W2On− Mo2On−.
