摘要: Underground storage of carbon dioxide (CO2) is attracting considerable interest worldwide as a means avoiding continued release CO2 from anthropogenic sources. Here, heterogeneous oil reservoir in Alberta, Canada, was chosen for evaluating the potential use this site mixture 90% + 10% H2S produced nearby gas plant. This produces 34° API light pinnacle reef, which carbonate with depth 4800 ft (1441 m). A fully compositional, three-dimensional (3-D) simulation model, CMG-GEM, used to simulate various operational conditions, study and fluid characteristics, investigate amount stored recovered. The results show that combination two vertical injectors one horizontal producer optimizes incremental recovered stored. procedure developed study, findings can be guidelines designing imp...
