Specific Protein Patterns Characterize Metastatic Potential of Advanced Bladder Cancer

摘要: Purpose: The prognosis in patients with metastasized bladder cancer is still poor. Clinical and histopathological parameters have limited ability to predict the risk of tumor progression. Thus, we identified specific protein patterns associated progression differentiate specimens without metastasis.Materials Methods: We analyzed 46 42 nonmetastasized muscle invasive cancers by ProteinChip® technology surface enhanced laser desorption/ionization time flight mass spectrometry. Cell lysis was done after capture microdissection from cryostat sections achieve high cell purity. Surface spectrometry completed 2 matrices (Q10 CM10). Bioinformatic analysis performed XLMiner® clustering using Fuzzy c-means method.
