摘要: A system for processing a batch which is distributed into plurality of independent segments. preferred embodiment this invention calls implementation on symmetrical multiprocessing platform, however, the also applicable to massively parallel architectures as well uniprocessor environments. Each segment comprises discrete events, each event comprising sub-events be processed. The operates process within sequentially and sub-event sequentially. segments may processed an uniprocessor, SMP or MPP system. By balancing number events in using “coarse grain” approach, flexible but efficient use processor availability obtained.
