摘要: As a capital intensive transport technology linked to industrialized economies, containerization has only recently penetrated the non-Western, developing periphery. The spatial spread of this revolutionary through surface region encounters numerous institutional and technological barriers which are removed by reformulation government trade policies. In examining process container at Port Belawan its hinterland North Sumatra, Indonesia, attention is given important role policy as catalyst penetration foreign imposed mode. Some negative consequences adoption explored model in regional economy proposed.
