摘要: Abstract Background: Early diagnosis of breast cancer treatment-related lymphedema (BCRL) is great importance for longstanding treatment results. Tissue dielectric constant (TDC) and bioimpedance spectroscopy (BIS) both have a potential early diagnosis, but not been compared. Methods Results: One hundred women, treated with surgery, axillary dissection, radiotherapy, were examined within one year after treatment, as part the follow-up procedure. Affected/at-risk contralateral arms measured TDC technique specific to localized skin water content BIS assessing arm extracellular fluid (ECF). Thirty-eight patients clinically diagnosed (38.0%).
