摘要: Abstract The possible role of some acute phase proteins (APPs) and immunoglobulins in both the pathogenesis diagnosis feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) has been investigated. Serum protein electrophoresis concentration haptoglobin (Hp), serum amyloid A (SAA), α1-acid glycoprotein (AGP), IgG IgM were evaluated cats exposed to coronavirus (FCoV) with FIP. highest APPs was detected affected cats, confirming these supporting a clinical Repeated samplings from FIP FCoV-exposed showed that when appeared group, all had increased APP levels. This increase persisted only developed (in spite decrease α2-globulins) but it transient which long lasting α2-globulins observed. These results suggest changes electrophoretic motility or other than Hp, SAA AGP might be involved protecting disease.
