摘要: Significant advantage could be achieved if mixed reactant fuel cells, MR-FC, were functioning. These cells are intended to operate on a mixture of air and introduced into both the cathode anode compartment. Symmetry is broken by using different electrode materials exhibiting special catalytic properties. No high temperature cell was reported date function as true MR-FC only one, low type, did properly. We discuss required properties which unique in that they promote electrochemical reactions suppress chemical ones well possible ways search for them. The reaction has suppressed direct oxygen two components premixed then at compartments. should promoted reduction oxidation ions emerge from solid electrolyte. Conditions this selectivity discussed. derived theory chemisorption applied heterogeneous catalysis.
