摘要: Abstract This work aims to characterise the solute-solute interaction which occurs in a ternary system containing CO2 with solutes, 1-decanol and 3,7-dimethyl-1-octanol compare ability of RK-ASPEN CPA models, available within Aspen Plus® software, predict solubility data for this system. Bubble- dew-point were therefore measured three 1-decanol + mixtures CO2, at temperatures between 308 K 358 K, pressures up 27.5 MPa total solute mass fractions ranging from 0.605 0.015. The using static, synthetic visual phase detection method. revealed that significant interactions exist Furthermore, where dominated mixture composition, these resulted occurrence temperature inversion. bubble- predicted models. models fitted literature experimental data. Comparison prediction obtained indicated can better be described polar-based equation state model.
