摘要: Background Baccalaureate nursing graduates must possess leadership skills, yet few opportunities exist to cultivate abilities in a clinical environment. Peer-facilitated learning may increase the skills of competence, self-confidence, self-reflection, and role modeling. Facilitating human patient simulation provides develop skills. Method With faculty supervision, senior baccalaureate students led small-group experiences with sophomore junior peers then conducted subsequent debriefings. Quantitative qualitative descriptive data allowed evaluation students' satisfaction this teaching innovation whether experience affected desire take on roles. Results Students expressed peer-facilitated confidence mastering content while developing necessary for practice. Conclusion an opportunity development learning.
