摘要: My comments in this essay focus on recent scholarship gender, sexuality, and the state Southeast Asia include brief remarks some of literature regarding Asians diaspora. In interests transparency, I begin by noting that am an anthropologist trade many my observations pertain to writings anthropologists historians, though also engage work other disciplines.
