摘要: The existence of natural organohalogens has long been known and some fifteen hundred have now identified. This number includes chlorinated, brominated, fluorinated iodinated, as well mixed halogenated compounds. They are a very diverse nature both chemically functionally over the last twenty years subject considerable research. Also, since recognition environmental hazards anthropogenic organohalogens, predominantly organochlorines, extraordinary efforts expended on analysis organochlorines. Consequently, attention also drawn to those which biogenic or otherwise naturally occurring. use AOX analytical parameter allowed determination high molecular weight compounds poorly suited Chromatographic techniques. widely applied regulatory for complex analytically intractable effluents although limitations in its utility apparent. Critical areas understanding identification ecotoxicology their relevance policy discussed.
