摘要: Abstract Energy management is the most prominent means of improving energy efficiency, and improved efficiency constitutes cornerstone in decarbonization. For successful industrial management, defining accurate performance indicators (EnPIs) essential. Energy-intensive industries have previously been found to an improvement potential regarding current monitoring EnPIs, especially at process level. While general models for developing implementing EnPIs exist, manufacturing are diverse terms their production processes, which why industry-tailored EnPI development needed. One major outcome this paper a unique model specifically tailored kraft pulp mills. The derives from practice-based approach development, building on real-life experiences Swedish group companies. This paper’s developed model, validation further increase understanding industry’s processes how apply descriptive explanatory indicators. can potentially be generalized other sectors.
