摘要: Advances in the treatment of childhood cancers have resulted part from development national and international collaborative initiatives that defined biologic determinants generated risk-adapted therapies maximize cure while minimizing acute long-term effects. Currently, more than 80% children with cancer who are treated modern multidisciplinary treatments developed countries cured; however, approximately 160,000 adolescents diagnosed every year worldwide, live low- middle-income (LMICs), where access to quality care is limited chances low. In addition, disease burden not fully known because lack population-based registries low-resource countries. Regional ethnic variations incidence different suggest unique interactions between genetic environmental factors could provide opportunities for etiologic research. been Central South America Caribbean, Africa, Middle East, Asia, Oceania. These integrate regional capacity building, education health providers, implementation intensity-graduated treatments, establishment research programs adjusted local needs. Together, existing consortia networks operating LMICs potential reach out almost 60% all worldwide. summary, has shifted toward and, reason, global directed at pediatric control needed. aiming build incorporating on epidemiology, services, outcomes should be supported.
