摘要: In recent years, single crystal materials with better piezoelectric properties than the existing ceramics have become available. These new will potentially provide improved performance in ultrasonic applications such as NDT, sonar and biomedical diagnosis. order to select best material optimize transducer design, comparison must be carried out. However, due fabrication costs, initial comparisons can based on simulation. this paper, a is reported between transducers lead magnesium niobate-lead titanate (PMN-32% PT) ceramic zirconate (PZT-5H). Material assessed both for piezoelectric-polymer composite configurations by defining relevant parameters. Furthermore, effect of parameters different illustrated. Practical limitations are also discussed. We conclude that capable outperforming present widely used almost all practical applications.
