摘要: Agriculture intensification is one of the main threats to biodiversity in agricultural systems. The effectiveness conservation strategies these systems depends mainly on compromise between and land use. aim this study was assess effect land-use intensity, characteristics linear habitats (field borders) their surrounding fields (landscape) small mammal richness abundance Argentina. In autumn 2009, we performed a removal sampling 60 traplines located field borders high or low intensity regions. under found seven species while ten. Characteristic grasslands woodlands such as Monodelphis dimidiata, Thylamys pallidior, Necromys lasiurus Graomys griseoflavus were only captured intensity. Higher numbers Calomys musculinus (habitat generalist) observed Akodon azarae Oxymycterus rufus species, known habitat specialists, more frequently region. Border width height, well use both sides border, major variables for explaining abundances. Our results suggest that wide with similar those natural would be crucial sustainable management Pampean which hold species.
