摘要: The microbiota, and the genes that comprise its microbiome, play key roles in human health. Host-microbe interactions affect immunity, metabolism, development, behavior, dysbiosis of gut bacteria contributes to disease. Despite advances correlating changes microbiota with various conditions, specific mechanisms host-microbiota signaling remain largely elusive. We discuss synthesis microbial metabolites, their absorption, potential physiological effects on host. propose specialized metabolites may explain present knowledge gaps linking biological host during initial colonization, health
