摘要: Abstract Cyanobacteria provide an efficient system for producing H 2 from water using solar energy. The energy conversion efficiency can be defined by the ratio of produced to light absorbed. An IR and opalescent plate method was used measure Since cyanobacteria absorb in visible range but not infrared range, net amount absorbed cells estimated measuring intensities transmitted through biochamber. A rectangular biochamber quantum meter radiometer were intensity chamber. Anabaena variabilis cultured a BG11 medium with 3.6 mM NaNO 3 40–50  μ mol / m s growth phase 120–140  production phase. maximum 50 ml 40 h cell density 1.2 g/l. rate 4.1 ml g dry weight/h. Based on phase, 1.5% average 3.9% at maximum. phases, 1.1% average.
