摘要: Ambient concentrations of CO, as well NO x and O 3, were measured a part the PARADE campaign conducted at Taunus Observatory on summit Kleiner Feldberg between 8th August 9th September 2011. These measurements made in an effort to provide insight into characteristics effects both biogenic anthropogenic emissions atmospheric chemistry rural south-western German environment. The overall average CO concentration was found be 100.3±18.1 ppbv (within range 71 180 ppbv), determined from 10-min averages during summer season. b ackground estimated ~90 ppbv. NOx showed bimodal diurnal variations with peaks late morning (10:00-12:00 UTC) afternoon (17:00-20:00 UTC). Strong correlations indicated that vehicular emission major contributor notable plumes observed sampling site. Both local meteorology ba ckward trajectory analyses suggest associated anthropogenically polluted air masses transferred by advection site densely populated city sites. Furthermore, good linear correlation R 2 = 0.54 3 (;O3/;CO=0.560±0.016
