摘要: : Bathurst Gaol in New South Wales has carried out changes managerial styles. The physical and social environment provided for prisoners a ‘Unit Management’ scheme been found to be conducive efficient management; it is also cost effective. This article describes assesses both the ‘unit living’ ‘participatory management’ style involved.
