摘要: The effect on hepatic monooxygenase activity of exposing carp (Cyprinus carpio) and bullheads (Ictalurus melas) to river water was examined. Hepatic microsomal ethoxyresorufin-O-deethylase activities in fish maintained continuously dechlorinated city were compared with those exposed pumped into laboratory tanks. Monooxygenase increased rapidly upon exposure significantly elevated after 3 d exposure. When water-exposed returned water, steadily pre-exposure levels. This report includes two studies using performed different years, a more limited study bullheads. Carp captured an adjacent that flowed Milwaukee Harbor had high when the Under these carefully controlled conditions, occurrence reversibility environmental induction clearly demonstrated.
