摘要: The importance of protein degradation for controlling individual levels is long beyond doubt. Yet only recent experimental evidence confirmed the key role ubiquitin-proteasome pathway in cell cycle, carcinogenesis, transcription, differentiation, tissue growth and atrophy, metabolism various substrates, selective elimination abnormal proteins, antigen processing. review considers structures 26S proteasome its 20S proteolytic core, system ubiquitination proteins bearing a signal, metabolic processes, possible mechanisms regulating proteasomal activity cell.
