摘要: Aims: The present study aimed to determine whether yolk sacs with abnormal sonographic appearance are associated adverse perinatal outcomes in both early and late gestation. Matherial methods: A total of 305 viable singleton pregnancies gestational age 6 9 weeks were prospectively evaluated respect characteristics the sacs. Results: An sac was found 66 pregnancies. In enlarged a miscarriage occurred 37.5% cases (3/8). diameter ≥ 5 mm had significantly higher risk (p = 0.005). statistically similar between regular those irregular 0.73). Miscarriage 3.8% (2/52) none echogenic (0/6). Adverse not either or Conclusions: visualized before 7th week gestation is strongly increased for spontaneous miscarriage. presence an appears be unrelated outcome.
