摘要: Abstract When talking about the size of basins attraction coexisting states in a noisy multistable system, one can only refer to its probabilistic properties. In this context, most probable some exhibits an obvious non-monotonous dependence on noise amplitude, i.e., there exists certain level for which basin’s is larger than other values, while average always decreases as amplitude increases. Such behavior demonstrated through study Henon map with three attractors (period 1, period 3, and 9). Since position extrema depends frequency external modulation applied system parameter, noise, periodic combination both provide efficient control attractor preference multiple states.
