摘要: The present review is motivated by the fact that 100 years have passed since first cancer case in a chromium worker was reported Scotland. Old and recent reports epidemiological studies among chromate workers are reviewed to elucidate importance of valency states water solubility compounds for carcinogenic potency. It concluded all chromium[VI] should be considered exposed populations, no evidence has been presented indicating human exposure chromium[III] associated with increased risk. Strong zinc potent carcinogen suggests calcium may carcinogen. Evidence also water-soluble chromates general more carcinogens than those low solubility. Primary secondary prevention chromate-related success preventive measures briefly discussed, recommendations future research made.
