摘要: This study uses multilevel modeling to examine, after taking student-level predictors of enrollment into account, the effects state public policies on type institution high school graduates attend. Four types (direct appropriations, tuition, financial aid, and K-12 academic preparation) influence college select. Observed socioeconomic status differences in patterns are not explained by student- state-level variables model.
