摘要: Cholesterol granuloma (CG) is usually associated with chronic middle ear disease, and not common in the paranasal sinuses. Additionally, it very rare for cases of CG to be a fungal infection. However, this paper, we report case sphenoid sinus that aspergilloma 78-year-old male patient who presented right hemifacial pain, headache toothache. CT revealed presence an expansile cystic mass lesion showed high signal intensity on both T1 T2 weighted images. This was later determined CG. The suspected etiologic mechanisms sinuses are similar, impaired drainage obstruction ventilation considered causative mechanism diseases. Overall, results study indicate use MRI findings could helpful differentiating from other lesions.
