摘要: Neuronal precursors reside in the subventricular zone (SVZ) of adult mammals. This region is composed a network chains migrating neuroblasts ensheathed by astrocytes and juxtaposed clusters immature (type C cells). Here we show that after antimitotic treatment with cytosine-β-d-arabinofuranoside, type cells are eliminated but some remain. Remarkably, SVZ rapidly regenerates. Soon cytosine-β-d-arabinofuranoside divide. Two days later, reappear, followed at 4.5 neuroblasts. By 10 fully regenerated, orientation organization resemble normal mice. regeneration reveals an unexpected plasticity central nervous system should provide model to study early stages neurogenesis brain.
