摘要: Abstract : The long-term goal of this project is to utilize the recently established ordering, receiving, and processing capabilities for TerraSAR-X along-track interferometric synthetic aperture radar (along-track InSAR or ATI) data at University Miami's Center Southeastern Tropical Advanced Remote Sensing (CSTARS) development advanced ATI products, such as surface current fields in narrow rivers, innovative higher order products characterizing bathymetry coastal areas, properties oceanic internal waves, ocean wave spectrum, derived from amplitude signatures, phase polarimetric signatures. Within period 36 months (which started spring 2011), we intend acquire analyze a comprehensive set images open-ocean features waves tropical storms; explore possibilities obtaining estimates challenging test sites, very rivers (width 100 m), where most backscattered power fast-moving water may be mapped into pixels on land; techniques two-dimensional vector field retrievals combined /TanDEM-X single-instrument ascending descending overpasses site; develop tools generation higher-level InSAR-derived fields, bathymetric maps waters volume flow/mean runoff uncertain depth; evaluate potential InSAR- polarimetry-based fully retrievals.
