摘要: Microscopic structure in bubbly flows is a topic of interest the study fluid flows. In present paper, Ultrasonic Doppler Method was applied to measurement from which Reynolds stress profiles were obtained. Experiments carried out for an air-water dispersed flow 20mm x 100 mm vertical rectangular channel having void fraction smaller than 3%. Two ultrasonic transducers set on outer surface test section with contact angle 45° off vertical, one facing upward and other downward. By applying statistical methods two directional velocity profiles, calculated. comparing that single-phase flow, it found varied amount bubbles flow. Peak values near wall increased.
