摘要: The microstructure of tin-based white metals consists a soft solid solution matrix and two intermetallic compounds (Cu6Sn5, SbSn) that are harder than the matrix. This special qualifies these alloys as bearing material. In present study effect solidification rate heating on hardness is investigated. results show rapid cooling suppresses formation growth SbSn cuboids increases hardness. Heating makes precipitate’s corners round. Since resistance to wear most important property metal, comparison between pin disk ASTM B23-alloy 2 alloy 3 has also been conducted. Results more in dry sliding condition.
