摘要: A protocol is described to isolate small quantities of highly purified cellulose for isotopic analysis 10–100 mg samples secondary (Pinus sylvestris L.) and primary (Rubus idaeus plant cell wall material. Elemental 350 isolated from pine wood estimated the relative carbon content be ca. 43.7% ± 1.2%. This value indicates that quality high reproducible. High-performance anion exchange chromatography with pulsed amperometric detection hydrolysis products quantified purity as 99% cellulose. DRIFT spectroscopy corroborated this found no evidence degradation. Carbon composition using mass spectrometry was measured an accuracy 0.11‰ (standard deviation). The method rapid (56 may routinely processed within 8 h) requires only standard laboratory equipment chemicals. Copyright © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
