摘要: Abstract Alternating current electrophoretic deposition (AC–EPD) was used to infiltrate a SiC-based matrix phase containing Al 2 O 3 –Sc sintering aids into the fine voids of two-dimensionally woven Tyranno™-SA3 SiC fabric preform for fabrication dense fiber-reinforced composite (SiC f /SiC). The zeta potential aqueous suspension set ≥−55 mV achieve uniform and simultaneous all constituent particles. EPD performed at 20 V AC 30 min under application ultrasonic pulses initial 20 min minimize surface sealing effect. A high /SiC density 96.5% along with flexural strength 413.9 ± 18.5 MPa achieved after hot pressing 1750 °C 1 h due degree infiltration. These results showed that an eco-friend AC–EPD process can be applied /SiC.
