摘要: A very rapid radiochemical procedure was developed for antimony and arsenic. sample is added to a 30% solution of H/sub 2/SO/sub 4/ containing carrier or arsenic (or both). This dropped into flask granular zinc at 100 deg C. The volatile stibine and/or arsine formed passed through hot quartz tube decomposed the metal, which collects as metallic mirror on cooler portion tube. metal dissolved in assayed. chemical yield consistently between 70 80%. time required ior separation from other elements fission product solutlon about 10 seconds. decontamination factors are: Mixed products (2 weeks old) = 10/ sup 5/, I 3 x 10/sup 4/, Te 4 Sn =>10/sup As 20-50. == 7/, Sb 2 3/, 6/.
