摘要: We use a model of human capital investment and activity choice to explain facts describing gender differentials in the levels returns investments. These include higher return level schooling, small effect healthiness on wages, large schooling for females relative males. The incorporates differences responsiveness brawn nutrition Roy-economy setting which activities reward skill differentially. Empirical evidence from rural Bangladesh provides support importance distribution brawn.
