摘要: This work was to investigate the effect of flavonoids from Angelica gigas Nakai on proliferation and differentiation PC12 cells. Several solvents including hexane, chloroform, ethyl acetate, butanol water consecutively partitioned. We determined ethanol crude extract Nakai. The hexane fraction shown contain highest number as follows; 21.48 mg/g composition follows: 12.24 mg/g quercetin, 4.39 mg/g myricetin 2.58 mg/g catechin. In addition, this greatly increased both cell growth outgrowth neurite, whose effects were three times higher than those other fractions. length neurites measured ca. 110 μm in adding 50 μg/mL fraction, which about same case ng/mL NGF a positive control. result indicates that cells by addition comparable NGF. also prevent apoptosis suppressing DNA fragmentation. It is interesting mixture major flavonoids, catechin showed stronger activity on, neuritis outgrowth, when each flavonoid alone. believe due synergistic flavonoids. activities these are reported for first time study.
