摘要: Osteoarthritis is the most common rheumatic pathology and one of leading causes disability worldwide. It a very complex disease whose etiopathogenesis not fully understood. Furthermore, there are serious limitations for its management, since it lacks specific sensitive biomarkers early diagnosis, prognosis therapeutic monitoring. Proteomic approaches performed in last few decades have contributed to knowledge on molecular mechanisms that participate this they also led interesting panels putative biomarker candidates. In next years, further efforts should be made translating these findings into clinical routines. expected targeted proteomics strategies will highly valuable verification qualification osteoarthritis.
