摘要: This study investigated the use of Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale (BPRS) in a sample 155 Chinese psychiatric patients Hong Kong. The commonly rated symptoms were those related to spectrum anxiety-depression, and symptom dimensions differed only slightly from clusters reported past studies with BPRS. Although regardless diagnoses, BPRS profiles these sensitive diagnostic distinctions. In addition, also classifiable into 8 phenomenological types. However, less elevated across types raised question whether there was tendency under-present on part or under-rate clinicians. These results discussed terms for descriptive classification setting as well cross-cultural research.
