摘要: A histological review of 86 pediatric nephrectomy specimens from patients with vesicoureteric reflux (with or without apparent obstruction at the junction) investigated relationship between presence and extent focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) coexisting renal hypoplasia postnatally acquired cortical damage. FSGS was found in 18 patients, 9 whom were less than 5 years old. There no significant association (or grade) absence age nephrectomy, gender, obstruction, severity and/or loss. absent hypoplastic kidneys (although relatively young age), 40 normally developed age-matched index population, 72 (except 2 known cases glomerulonephritis). Within population significantly (P < .01) associated hypertension, hypertension proteinuria .001) but not an abnormal contralateral kidney. FSGS, proteinuria, Our results unexpected when interpreted within a pathogenesis for glomerular "hyperfiltration." They may, least group, indicate possible role other mechanisms development FSGS.
