摘要: This article examined the effectiveness of situational and emotional variables in predicting acceptability wolf management actions Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Three hypotheses were advanced: (a) both will influence ratings, (b) emotions explain largest proportion variance for lethal action, (c) this pattern findings be same residents visitors. Data obtained from a survey local visitors to Grand Teton National Park. Two (location encounter, status) three (sympathy ranchers, sympathy wolves, anger about wolves) included as independent variables. The dependent non-lethal management. Regression analyses supported hypotheses. While debates regarding wolves are likely continue, these highlight role that emotion plays evaluating actions.
