摘要: The effects of acupuncture-like stimulation the various segmental areas on gastric motility were examined in anesthetized rats. An acupuncture needle (diameter 340 microns) was inserted into skin and underlying muscles at a depth 4-5 mm twisted right left once every second for 60 s. Gastric pyloric region measured with balloon method. inhibited by applied to abdomen lower chest region, often excited when limbs stimulated, all cases which stimuli delivered muscles, alone, alone. inhibitory response abdominal accompanied an increase activity sympathetic efferent nerve abolished severance either branches stomach or thoracic spinal nerves. enhanced afferent excitatory hindpaw vagal bilateral vagi femoral sciatic In spinalized animals, elicited present, did not produce any response. We conclude that is reflex Its pathway composed cutaneous muscle nerves, nerve, its center within cord. also requires presence brain. Furthermore, responses influenced i.v. administration naloxone (0.4-4 mg/kg), suggesting endogenous opioids are involved present reflexes.
