摘要: The concept of driving forces is gaining increasing attention in landscape-change research. We summarize the state art this field and present new conceptual methodological directions for study landscape changes. These address four major challenges faced by studies, i.e., studying processes not merely spatial patterns, extrapolating results space time, linking data different qualities, considering culture as a driver change. proposed research include: change across borders transects, focusing on persistence well change, investigating rates attractors targeting correlation causality, searching precursors Based established knowledge approaches we outline standard procedure to anticipate that our analytical systematic approach increases relevance studies science solution real world problems.
