摘要: Thaumastocoris peregrinus Carpintero & Dellape (Hemiptera: Thaumastocoridae) is a small sap-sucking insect that feeds on Eucalyptus L’Her. leaves. Although it native to Australia, currently has global distribution and considered as one of the big five pests eucalypts around world. We described development T. population four species under environmental conditions in Argentina. also analyzed use yellow sticky traps monitoring method for this pest. The were suitable peregrinus. A cyclic pattern was observed bronze bug with an annual seasonal peak followed by decrease abundance, reaching minimum value during unfavorable seasons. During fall winter seasons, epizootic events registered all species, caused entomopathogenic fungus. None meteorological variables had clear influence neither nor occurrence fungal infection. found significant relationship between number nymphs adults branches individuals caught traps, suggesting give actual information about abundance tree canopy.
