摘要: The Anopheles gambiae complex is a group of six sibling species Afro-tropical anophelines. two most widely distributed and An. arabiensis are among the principal vectors malaria in Africa. melas, merus, bwambae, limited regional importance, whereas highly zoophilic Quadri-annulatus not believed to contribute significantly transmission (25, 63, 71, 72). Although some species-specific differences have been described distributions morphometric criteria (15, 20), no morphological taxonomic characters observed that permit unequivocal identification individual adult or larval specimens. Because habitats these overlap considerably, both on geographical ecological scales, more members often present same collections.
