摘要: Abstract This chapter introduces the tourism–disaster–conflict nexus through a comprehensive review of contemporary social science literature. After reviewing conceptual definitions tourism, disaster and conflict, explores various axes that link this nexus. The linkages between tourism include as trigger or amplifier disasters, impacts disasters on industry, driver recovery risk reduction strategies in sector. Linkages conflict idea can be force for peace stability, niche status danger zone dark heritage concept phoenix post-conflict destination rebranding, cultural conflicts, tourism’s conflicts over land resources. triggers intensifiers civil diplomacy resolution, capitalism, gender-based violence intra-household wake disasters.
