摘要: A rapid, noninvasive technique involving imaging of chlorophyll fluorescence parameters for detecting perturbations leaf metabolism and growth in seedlings is described. Arabidopsis were grown 96-well microtitre plates 4 d then treated with eight herbicides differing modes action to induce a range different metabolic processes. Imaging emissions from 96 growing on plate enabled images number be rapidly simultaneously produced the plants each well. Herbicideinduced metabolism, even reactions not directly associated photosynthetic detected changes considerably before any visual effects seedling observed. Evaluations made measurements area emission plates. Decreased related herbicideinduced imaged parameters. The applicability this rapid-screening monocotyledonous species was demonstrated by treating Agrostis tenuis Imazapyr, an inhibitor branched-chain amino acid synthesis.
