摘要: A new hydrogel based on a modified chitosan CS-B was synthesized and evaluated for its metal ion removal from aqueous systems. The prepared through modification of with 4-((1, 3-dioxoisoindolin-2-ylimino) methyl) benzaldehyde as heterocyclic component. analyzed by diverse techniques such FTIR, XRD, TGA, SEM, swelling tests. adsorption capacity ions Co2+, Hg2+, Cu2+, Zn2+, Pb2+ systems at different pH values showed various levels efficiency. uptake data over range Co2+ Hg2+ the highest while moderate capacity. Selective efficiency lowest in their binary mixture.
